I had a really nice chill week this week, spending time with family and friends, going on lunch adventures with my colleagues, watching the very impressive Pangdemonium Triple Threats production of Heathers: The Musical (which has long been a bucket list musical of mine, so I'm really glad I finally got to see it), and starting to plan my birthday trip with my siblings, which is exciting.
But no doubt the biggest thing that happened to me this week is that I finally fell down the Balatro black hole after buying the game on sale last year, and then promptly avoiding it because I knew it would eat my life, and… well, breaking news, it has eaten my life. I haven’t played anything quite so moreish since Civ III back in the day. It is truly the epitome of just one more round. Send help (it’s very fun I’d 100/10 rec but only incredible self-control is keeping me from buying it for my mobile devices as well) (if I did I can say goodbye to all of my time outside the house).
